OVERVIEW:
TSB 08-031-20 was published 3/6/2020. It involves adding a jumper wire harness to the rear auxiliary wiring harness. If these circuits are missing from your vehicle, please take it to your Ram dealer's service department. Inform the service agent of the issue and give him/her the TSB number. The repairs will be covered under warranty.

NOTE:
This applies to vehicles built on or before September 04, 2019 (MDH 0904XX) equipped with a 6.4L Heavy Duty V8 Hemi With MDS (Sales Code ESA) or a 6.7L I6
Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine (Sales Codes ETL and ETM), with Auxiliary Switches I/P Mounted (Sales Code LHL) and Pickup Box (Sales Code XBS).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The upfitter auxiliary fused wires are not populated on the rear of the chassis wiring harness equipped with Instrument Panel (IP) auxiliary switches. The wires are located on the right side of the rear chassis cross beam, above the fifth wheel.

68496399AA - Kit, Auxiliary Upfitter Jumper Wire Harness

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Install auxiliary jumper wires and the six zip ties to the wiring harness. Ensure that all instructions included in the Mopar Auxiliary Upfitter Jumper Wire Harness Kit (#K68486399AA) are followed during the repair.
